وتواصل “btolat.com” مع وكيل باريرا، كورماتش فالديبينيتو، للحديث عن أنباء اهتمام الأهلي بضم الكولومبي، وقال: “ليس هنالك أي عرض رسمي من الأهلي”.

وأضاف: “كل ما في الأمر أن هناك صديقًا مصريًا أعرفه يعمل كوسيط لتقارب وجهات النظر مع النادي الذي يحبه وهو الأهلي”.

وتابع: “إذا كان هناك عرض رسمي، سنكون مهتمين بالطبع، الأهلي نادٍ كبير ورائع للغاية”.

وعن موقف باريرا من الانتقال إلى الأهلي: “اللاعب يرغب في الانتقال إلى القاهرة، وبدء مغامرة جديدة في مسيرته الكروية، فهو يعرف النادي جيدًا، لكن الأمر لا يتعدى سوى اهتمام دون عرض رسمي حتى الآن”.

وبسؤاله عن المبلغ الممكن أن تتم من خلاله الصفقة بين الأهلي وأتلتيكو ناسيونال: “اعتقد أن الصفقة من الممكن أن تنتهي بمبلغ 2 مليون دولار”.

وقمنا بتوجيه سؤال آخر إلى فالديبينيتو بشأن مطالب النادي الكولومبي كما علمنا بأنهم يطلبون 4 ملايين دولار للموافقة على رحيل باريرا، رد: “هذا غير صحيح، ليست هذه مطالب أتلتيكو ناسيونال، وإذا كان اهتمام من الأهلي بالفعل سنحاول التحدث مع النادي الكولومبي لتقارب وجهات النظر لإتمام الصفقة”.

واستمر: “اللاعب سيكون له دور كبير في إتمام تلك الصفقة، إذا تحرك الأهلي، من الممكن أن يتنازل باريرا عن بعض مستحقاته لدى أتلتيكو ناسيونال لحسم الاتفاق لأنه يعرف بالفعل أنه سينتقل إلى نادٍ كبير في الشرق الأوسط”.

وأتم تصريحاته: “جارلان لاعب رائع ومميز، ويشبه كثيرًا صديقه نجم ليفربول الحالي، لويس دياز، لقد لعبا معًا في أتلتيكو جونيور”.

كشفت تقارير صحافية عن تواجد شكوك بشأن إمكانية غياب نجم الهلال السعودي الدولي سالم الدوسري، عن مواجهة الزمالك يوم الجمعة المقبلة في بطولة كأس سوبر لوسيل.

 أكد فهد المفرج المدير التنفيذي لنادي الهلال أن سالم الدوسري بخير وجاهز تمامًا للمشاركة مع الهلال في مواجهة الزمالك في حال قرر المدرب الأرجنتيني رامون دياز الاعتماد على اللاعب في اللقاء.

وتابع المفرج في تصريحات لوسائل الإعلام السعودية السبت أن الفحوصات الطبية أشارت إلى أن سالم الدوسري بخير مما يعني سفره مع بعثة الهلال إلى الدوحة.

يذكر أن ظهير الهلال ياسر الشهراني تعافى هو الآخر من الإصابة في العضلية الخلفية وبات جاهزًا للعب ضد الزمالك في كأس لوسيل.

ووفقًا للتقارير الصحفية فإن الفريق المتوج بكأس سوبر لوسيل سيحصل على جائزة مالية قدرها مليون ونصف المليون دولار، وسيحصل الخاسر على مليون دولار.

That’s according to Sky Sports reporter Michael Bridge, who delivered a fresh claim on their pursuit to GIVEMESPORT earlier this week. He said: “If Spurs are looking at Sam Johnstone, I’m sure that’s a sensible option.

“I think Spurs have been watching him. He is homegrown, which is good.”

This latest development should leave much of the Lilywhites faithful absolutely buzzing as it seems as if the club’s hierarchy, notably sporting director Fabio Paratici and chairman Daniel Levy, are planning for the future.

Hugo Lloris (34) is out of contract in the summer, so a change could well be required between the sticks, and the fact that Johnstone is being monitored suggests that he could be a possible successor – and a very worthy one, too.

Despite West Brom’s relegation, the 28-year-old colossus made Gareth Southgate’s England squad at Euro 2020 and he has since picked up three caps, even with Albion in the second tier.

That shows his quality, whilst previous praise from former managers show an insight into his work ethic, attitude and undoubted ability.

“He’s one of the best,” claimed ex-West Brom boss Sam Allardyce back in December, with Johnstone being dubbed a “diamond” to work with by Steve Bruce, his former boss at Villa.

No goalkeeper in the Premier League has faced more shots on target (168) than Johnstone last season, nor did any goalkeeper make as many saves either (116). His four saves per 90 minutes was far above that of Lloris (2.77), as per FBRef.

The veteran glovesman, who captained France to UEFA Nations League glory earlier this month, has often come under criticism for his form in N17, in which he was once slammed for his “lettuce wrists” and dubbed a “weak link” in defence by talkSPORT pundits Jason Cundy and Trevor Sinclair.

Johnstone, who is valued at just £7.2m by Transfermarkt, could be a bargain replacement come next summer, particularly as he’s only on a reported £32.5k-per-week at the Hawthorns.

Spurs fans should be excited by Bridge’s suggestion that the club have been watching him ahead of a potential move. He’d be a very astute addition, even if Lloris remains.

Southampton managed to perfectly move on from getting knocked out of the Carabao Cup against Chelsea last week by securing their second Premier League win of the season at the weekend with a 1-0 win away at Watford thanks to a goal from Che Adams.

Their next game sees Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side take on Aston Villa at St. Mary’s to see if they can grab another win and move even further away from the relegation zone.

With this clash in mind, one Saints player that featured in the win at Watford that we feel should be in the starting XI to face Villa is striker Adam Armstrong.

Armstrong played the full 90 minutes against the Hornets and not only did he assist Adams’ winning goal that sealed the three points on the day, but he also managed to have five shots at goal in what was a swashbuckling attacking display.

On top of that, he made two key passes and completed one accurate long ball which ultimately earned him a solid match rating of 7/10, higher than his strike partner Adams on the day according to SofaScore.

Since joining the south-coast club back in August on a four-year deal from Championship club Blackburn Rovers for a reported fee of £15m, Armstrong has made an appearance in all but one of Southampton’s Premier League games so far this season, scoring one goal and providing two assists along the way.

Despite the lack of goals, the fact that the attacker, who has been praised for his “explosive” pace in the past by Tony Mowbray is getting plenty of minutes under his belt this season shows that Hasenhuttl has enough faith in him to keep playing him.

Also, the fact that the 24-year-old, who is currently valued at £16.2m according to Transfermarkt, has managed to rack up an average of three shots at goal per game in the Premier League so far this season which shows that he is a useful attacking outlet for the Saints but has merely had trouble finding the back of the net.

This says to us that Armstrong’s attacking prowess could make him a real nuisance for Villa and potentially terrify them on Friday night, especially given how they have lost their previous four league games, conceding 12 goals in the process. Combine that with Ezri Konsa’s absence after he picked up a red card in their recent 4-1 defeat against West Ham and it makes Southampton’s task easier.

If Hasenhuttl does start Armstrong against Villa and the striker manages to score, this could well be a big confidence boost for the player, one that could push him on to a consistent run of form which would undoubtedly please everyone at the club.
